Google's five-language ADK exposes tools through different runtime safeguards

Python introspection, Go generics and struct tags, TypeScript Zod, Java annotations and Kotlin build-time KSP converge on shared MCP and A2A protocols, then enter a common validation, tracing and deployment test rail while remaining explicitly nonidentical.

Summary: Google describes native Agent Development Kit implementations for Python, Go, TypeScript, Java and Kotlin. All support MCP tool connections and A2A agent communication, but their tool schemas are built differently: Python introspection, Go generics, TypeScript Zod, Java annotations and Kotlin compilation. The examples expose interoperability choices rather than proving identical production behavior.

Why it matters: Teams can build agents in their established runtime instead of adding a Python service solely for orchestration. Compare schema validation, traceability, deployment and protocol interoperability with the same test tool before adopting a language-specific implementation.
